Cowes Week is the longest running
regular regatta in the world. First started in 1826. A
typical week has more than 35 races per day across a number of yacht
classes. Watch more than 1000 boats and 9000 competitors take part
from one of our
LUXURY MOTOR YACHTS
As well as the sailing activities there are a number events including
live music and cocktail parties. Overflowing crowds in the
narrow high street, marquees erected in the marinas, transform Cowes
to a magical festive atmosphere with more than 100,000 visitors each
year.
Round The Island Race
Organised by the Island Sailing Club,
this is one of the most important fixtures on the Solent racing
calendar. Competitors come from Europe and the USA, as well as
all over the U to follow the 50 mile course round the Isle of Wight.
